Renmark

The oldest town in the Riverland region has a lovely riverfront and it is one of the more interesting places in the area. The town is a popular spot for cruises and houseboat rentals and is home to the PS Industry, a wood-fired paddle steamer that operates cruises on the river on the first Sunday of each month.

Coming & Going

Premier Stateliner (tel (08) 8415 5555) coaches run between Adelaide and Renmark. Premier Stateliner buses leave from the tourist information centre at 84 Murray Avenue.

Renmark is on the Sturt Highway, which runs between Adelaide and Sydney, so Greyhound (tel 1300 473 946) buses also stop here. Greyhound stops at the Caltex service station at 18th Street and Renmark Avenue.
