Parndana is 40km away from Kingscote. The tiny town was established shortly after World War II as returning soldiers and their families almost doubled Kangaroo Island’s population.

Parndana Wildlife Park

The Parndana Wildlife Park is the only attraction in the area but it’s a good one. The park features the islands largest collection of birds such as black cockatoos, eagles, kookaburras and curlews, and you might come across kangaroos, koala bears, bettongs, potoroos and other native wildlife.
