Lismore

With around 50,000 people, Lismore is the main town in the far north of the state and it’s where people from neighbouring towns come to get things done. Lismore has a university and a much more sophisticated air to it than most other regional towns of a similar size – probably due to the alternative/new-age influence of nearby places like Byron Bay and Nimbin.
