Jindabyne

During the ski season this resort town on the shore of Lake Jindabyne is a cheaper place to stay than Thredbo and there are frequent buses and trains that bring it within commuting distance of the ski slopes.

Jindabyne is a nice town and outside the ski season, it is a popular base for bush walking in Kosciuszko National Park.
