Dunsborough is popular with divers who come here to dive the Swan shipwreck. Many travellers visit Sep-Dec when Dunsborough is a popular spot for whale watching. It is also a good base for surfing at Yallingup and exploring the Margaret River wine region.

The Swan shipwreck is the major attraction for divers to Dunsborough. There are several dive companies in town that organise trips to the wreck and who offer PADI dive courses. These include Cape Dive (222 Naturaliste Terrace, Dunsborough; tel (08) 9756 8778).
Dunsborough is close to the excellent surf beaches at Yallingup, about 10km from town. Yallingup Surf School (tel (08) 9755 2755) can teach you to surf from $50 for one lesson or $125 for a three-day course.
This lighthouse, 13km from Dunsborough, features a small maritime museum and walking trails around the surrounding coastline.

This beautiful cave was discovered in 1899 and was the first cave in Western Australia to be open to the paying public. There are regular tours of the cave that last around 45-60 minutes.
