Atherton

Atherton is the main town in the Atherton Tablelands. It is a modest town with just the bare essentials, but cheap prices on food and supplies. The only backpackers who stay here are on working holiday, but it is a good place to look for work, as there is a great hostel, and the surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous.
