Sea kayaking puts you in a unique position to discover Byron Bay’s marine life, which includes dolphins. Sea kayaking trips cost around $60 per person.

Surfing

Byron Bay has excellent beginners waves and it’s a popular spot to learn to surf. One-day lessons cost between $49 and $65 and two-day courses cost from $85 to $105. Three and five-day courses are also available.
